My channel features a lot of my interests. RV repair and modifications, hunting, camping, kayaking, doing home improvement projects, and cool mods to my truck, shop, and man cave. A lot of DIY, some clever ideas from other UA-cam friends and some of my own genius ideas. Look back a few years and see all the puppy videos and how I raised my litters.

My $5 Challenge ~ Happy New Year 2020

I have not spent a $5 bill all year, and I accumulated $330.00 worth, to donate to a cause that is dear to me, putting bibes in the hands of those who have no access to a bible or Gods Word. I challenge you to do this in 2020, never spend a $5 bill no matter what, and donate what you accumulate at the end of the year to a charity, or someone you know that is in need of financial help. RV Steps HAZARD ~ DIY rebuild
Переглядів 4,7 тис.4 роки тому
My 2018 Keystone Carbon was built in late 2017. From the factory a serious hazard existed in these steps. I nearly fell to the floor below as did my granddaughter several times. You just don't expect 3 different step heights when going down stairs. This videos details how I fixed this hazard. The end result looks and functions much better. I am very pleased with this outcome. If you want to be ...

RV 5th wheel @ CAT scales
Переглядів 1,2 тис.5 років тому
This is my 1st 5th wheel, and I want to know all my weight parameters, so I take 3 trips to the scales to learn about pin weight, loads on each axle, gross combined weight, while empty and when loaded. 1st weigh is 21440 lbs gross - truck and RV empty with full tank of fuel and me. 2nd weigh is 23140 lbs gross - truck and RV with most of the gear I will travel with. 3rd weigh is 8460 lbs gross ...

Preventing water intrusion of your RV
Any issues with cotter pins puncturing hose or getting big the way?
Like your idea of stuffing the lower cross member with a wooden dowel. As you said, if PVC breaks, you can keep trucking with the wooden support. The four vertical supports if great idea. Hadn't seen that before. Quick question: Have you tried forward-leaning the wheels from the back? You'd be closer to the loaded kayak's center of gravity.
That's why they make puppy kibble etc...they are clearly a nice size and age and should wean from Mom...why put her through prolonged torture ...makes absolutely no sense...I'm sure Mom has done a huge great job thus far..let her be...smh
I know this has been a while ago but did you have issues getting it to line up when u put it back on? We did ours over the weekend- it looks great but is off by about 1/4 inch.
No issues, I used spacers to keep the gap the same on sides and original screw holes lined up. Thanks for watching.
Hi there! So I came across your video because we are tent campers but are looking at upgrading, we came across a unit of Facebook marketplace place which seemed to be a good deal on a hybrid very similar to your unit. It's a 2012 Dutchman aerolite 165w shuttle series. They say they are at 7500 firm but 4mon ago was at 10.5. I know nothing about campers. They said they replaced the awning and axel. They were honest and said there was some water damage to one of the bunks but was placing a board over it and it works fine. When I asked for pics, I can see the 1/8 ply lifting around the edge of the aluminum frame, which brought me to your video. The rest of the unit looks pristine. Just wondering if I just need to replace the weather stripping around the fold out part and then I can work ok what you did or just have a dealer fix it, or if that is even a good price for the unit. Appreciate your time!!
Since I cant see the damage, I cant know the extent. I would look very very close to all the structural wood at and around the bunk AND the wall opening. If water intrusion was enough to delam the bunk, a piece of plywood is not a fix. A tap test, knocking on the hard surface with a coin or tool, will reveal delamination. Have it inspected by a repair person or facility or keep looking. ALL Hybrid RVs are prone to this, so be cautious. Thanks for watching.
@@redroofretriever thanks! Great advice. I thinks e decided that the risk isn't worth the reward for us.
Recommend spray down a 50/50 solution of Simple Green & Bleach wait a few minutes and then pressure wash off using a 40° fan spray at least 8-10" (depending upon PSI) away from the EPDM roof then let dry 24 hours. The next day, reseal top edges of all the edge trim pieces with non-leveling DICOR sealant, reseal all cracks with DICOR Self-Leveling lap sealant and/or use eternabond (only where it's really needed) then coat the entire roof with HENRY's Tropicoll 100% Silicone roof coating. It's really that simple!
Wow That was awesome 👏🏻
Have the same stove for the past 17 years and best investment I could have made with heating oil prices average about $4+ a gallon. I found out if the igniter was to close to the metal around the hole it won’t ignite. Also packing the hopper too tight with cause the augers to bind up. Thanks for the video
I just build one on mine 1” bolt through the hitch then welded it on top And bottom.
Have the same stove had it for 20 years had to replace various motors and blowers but has been the best pellet stove fairly low maint clean it and grease augers liked video thanks
I have this same stove and had no idea it had an ignitor.......
My girl Luna is in first stage as well she is panting but not as hard and her temp dropped this morning she is pacing atm but I'm sooo excited this video is helping me so much thank u for posting it
Hi can I pay you to make me a few?
What brand is that decoy?
I have no idea. It was a cheap 6 pk, a long time ago
One old school method to by passing the igniter. First throw a few pellets on the plate. Take some lighter fluid and squirt some on the pellets. Recommend one of those long candle bic lighters and light it. Prevents getting burned. Leave the door open a little. Wait 2-3 minutes or until you see embers glow from the pellets like you do with charcoal on bbq grills. Then close the door and turn on the pellet stove. Saves the hassle of working on it and dealing with that igniter rod.
Thanks!!

I have a 2002 starcraft starshuttle Toyhauler and it been sitting neglected for over 10 years we bought a class C RV and my wife never wanted to get rid of the Toyhauler, and now my son wants to take it so now it need a lot of work, replacing the inside floor, replacing the kitchen sink cabinet and counter top 4 new tires, we live in a dry climate but this walls are also delamanateted, and in need of repairing, THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEOS THEY REALLY HELP
This video is everything that everyone must avoid when woodworking. It’s just all wrong and super careless. Please anyone watching this, do NOT do these. Table saw free hand, routing with right hand super close to knife, wearing loose clothes and watch while working, not using any PPE, screws are unnecessary while glueing such small item.. It’s just crazy. You should delete this video, someone will hurt themselves.
You do you, and all will be fine. My use of my tools is no concern of yours.
@@redroofretriever while that's true that you can do whatever you wish between your four walls, but when you post a video on the biggest video platform on the world, you rather be careful and at least provide some disclaimer to your viewers so they don't cut their fingers off and promote an unhealthy work environment.
@frufruwood stupid usually fixes itself. Anyone that thinks their finger can survive a saw blade hasn't learned that life lesson yet. It's not my job to tell others what not to do. There are plenty of people that love to do that though, isn't there? Enjoy your day, enjoy your life. Stop worrying about others.
@@frufruwood Why should anyone providing a video on how they build a project provide a disclaimer? When power tools are sold, they come with instructions that show the safe use....do's & don'ts. The problem is, some people never read the instructions and dive straight in. It's not the fault of the video uploader if someone decides to bypass manufacturer's safety guidelines.
My dog name is tilly and shes due any day now lol
What is the metal frame called that surrounds the bunk end called think I need to replace mine as it’s very delaminated
Aluminum hat channel, maybe?
Is it imperative to wrap the RV IN PLASTIC ???… and would it be ok to just use hose and brush to clean the roof ???
Sir kia ye for sale ha agar for sale ha to price per kitna
thank you for this video! We have a 2009 Kodiak Skamper 185. One end is shot and delaminated the other I can tell it's starting to. Winter project here we come!

I like that sign above the door 😉.
I bet it helped tremendously. Thanks for the video
May have been a one owner riding in captain's chair and clubs on the driver side weakens the suspension on that side ?
would worry one bump and that pvc will crack and boats spill out of the road.
I actually saw a rat on top of the inside of mine and scared it away and then realized it had chewed a bunch of wires. It even got into the bell housing and was able to chew the wires off of where the brushes connect to the wiring harness, what a mess it was.
Where did you buy hat material?
Not much help at all except how to set the cart up which I won't use the ramps and probably use the stands to support the axle.
just bought the exact same kayak from Brooklyn kayak company. Do you still have yours? how was it on the water !?
I do not, but it was a good kayak for me.
Did u have to drill the holes to hold the hitch , you never said anything about that if u did.
I did not drill any holes for this install.
Save your back - use a broom handle to extend the roller (almost all roller brush handles will do that).
I started with one, but as you can see, it broke early in the 1st coat going on.
Why do you grind the food up? It is so unnecessary and creates a bigger mess. Just soak the food, don't grind it.
They couldn't be getting much milk and they are so vicious.
They got their share, and yes, a survival instinct in all puppies.

Okay SEABEE brother ( I saw your shirt ! we ARE the fighting SEABEES ) you need to remember that these units are made in Indiana with Amish contract labor. Basically the Amish will be hired to build out the units when the Amish are not planting or harvesting. The Amish don't use power tools....sooooo when the Amish kid gets his hand on a pneumatic staple gun it's like he has been handed a golden saber and he slays they beast ! LOL, and no, this isn't a dig on the Amish, its from a guy that has contracted Amish labor !
Great job.
How's that Dicor roof sealer holding up?? I need to do my 89 yr old Pops place in Florida.... and my 2014 winnebago roof... Looks pretty simple.... just time and effort
Have nearly same camper but 2007. Very helpful
Bolted into paper thin pot metal. I reinforced my step with uni strut just for passengers to have a solid step. Those steps bend in the wind but a great template to reinforce.
Thank you for specifying measurements before and after
❤
Thank you for sharing this video! Much more clarification on a first stage. Our girl Nala is in her birth time, 62 days since mating. I don't think she has gone to this stage yet. Shes uncomfortable but resting in her whelp space and sleeping a lot. I think she is in the calm before the storm. I am wondering if before Tilly entered stage 1 she had a sleepy docile stage?
again another video showing the take off. but then bam like magic the new spring is on. what I want and need to see is how you put the new one on. and get the center hole in the spring to ine up. taking out the old is easy. putting on the new is hard. other wise a good video
This was super helpful! We have a 13 year old hybrid that is showing delamination on both bunks. After watching you rebuild yours I’m wondering if it’s worth the cost and effort. Or we just suck it up and have delaminated bunk ends. 🤷♀️
Hey, I'm in the process of redoing my worse off bunk as I write this. I can already tell that its going to be worth the job as it was become unsafe (knee was about to go through). It's a couple of good days work for 2 people. We opted to not use a metal sheet and carefully removed and cleaned the filon outer shell. Long and hard but it'll look a lot better, cheaper and lighter.
I fell down these steps in my Carbon on 5/5/23 and broke my leg in 3 places. Those are horrible steps! Please everyone be careful, I am absolutely miserable 😢
Is there a video you made that shows the step functionality? I bought the same hitch and even a step that goes into the receiver but I don’t see how this will help passengers step up since the step is will only be ~2 inches lower.
